Most funds have a policy about what can go into an AI tool and no way to enforce it. This week that gap got smaller, which moves the question from whether you trust the vendor to what your own policy allows.

Your compliance team can now block a prompt before the model sees it
- Anthropic shipped inference hooks in beta this week. Every prompt routes through your own security server for an allow or deny verdict before Claude sees it.
What this means for a fund:
- The question stops being "do we trust Anthropic with our IP" and becomes "what does our own policy allow." You can begin to enforce that policy so only data you are comfortable with is sent to Anthropic.
